Now for the show. Cracker started the set with Seven Days, then played Teen Angst, then Been Around the World. It was awesome to hear the new songs live. It seems to me no other band sounds soooooo much like they're digital recordings than Cracker. They were kicking my ass and I was lovin it.
They also played the following songs in some other order: I Want Out of the Circus, The World is Mine, Hold of Myself, St. Cajetan, Mr. Wrong, 100 FPM, Sweet Thistle, Eurotrash, Los, Get Off This, Take Me Down to the Infirmary, Lonesome Johnny Blues, Matchstick Man (yeah, their still playing that and I love it), and the infamous "Polka Song".
This is my eighth or ninth live show, and I never remember them wearing suits before. David and Bob with coats and matching pants, Johnny in black pants, white shirt and vest with black and gold design. The drummer (is it still frank?) just looks bald back there with his shaved head, and Mr. Margolis seems to always wear the same shirt. Who cares, that was for the interested on the list that do.
Any way, I'm sure I forgot a song or two, what with the Kamikazes and Tequila getting in the way. What a show, and they can't come back too soon.
I hope all of you waiting for your turn enjoy as much as we did.
