Just got back from watching Cracker at Moondance Cafe. Great low-key, show, or as David put it "Hi, we're Cracker. Welcome to our rehearsal." The opening Maki seemed to have a split personality. Half the songs were upbeat, vaguely Replacementesque while the other half were some of the most excruciating dirges I've ever heard. The lead singers annoying falsetto didn't help matters.

Surprisingly, Cracker only played the 3 new songs they played at the Barn Dance on Saturday. I was kind of hopping for some more new material, but oh well. Anyway the set list was:

It was kind of amusing that in between the main set and the encore, since there was no backstage, the band just sat on the side of the stage. When they got up, Johnny announced "Wow, you should have seen the party we were having backstage. A lot of wild things were going on back there."
