The show was great. I've listened to Cracker for a long time, but always managed to miss a show for some reason. The turnout in Allentown was poor. Great for getting close to the band, but everyone kind of felt bad for David and the rest of the guys and gal. David was visibly upset after Brides of Neptune, saying that he didn't "really feel like" being there, but they were still going to "do their thing". Not sure if it was the turnout, the venue, or just something I don't really need to know about. He spent a minute fixing some sound stuff himself. Regardless, after about 4 songs, David announced that the band was in synch again, and you could tell. They actually sounded great the whole time, but everyone's demeanor changed to the better at one point, and that really got the sparse crowd fired up. At one point, a fan yelled something about the small crowd. David said, "..(whatever)....it's a Tuesday night..."
I have a feeling that by mid-summer if Cracker is still touring, it will be to sold-out shows. All they need is a little airtime on the radio. When that happens, I'll be wishing I could still see them with 150 other people in a small club in Pennsylvania.
Not exactly sure of the order. Also, I think I'm missing something:
