The band really seemed to be having a great time. I took a group of first-time Cracker fans with me, and they all loved it. A+

Be My Love Dr. Bernice Teen Angst Mr. Wrong Low ("Might as well get this out of the way now") Pictures of Matchstick Men Lonesome Johnny Blues Eurotrash Girl Cracker Soul Loser Wedding Day Seven Days Get Off This How Can I Live Without You Sweet Thistle Pie Been Around The World Sweet Potato Big Dipper (requested by Steven Koester) Don't Fuck Me Up Ride My BikeTonight's show was dedicated to Koester ("Hello We're Koester. Well, We're ALL Koester" - David Lowery). And kept going on about DOGON the God of the Dog Star and tonight was a ritual dedicated to Dogon and that we were all part of his cult. I have no idea what that was all about.
The show ROCKED. David tried to get out of playing "Don't Fuck Me Up" because he hadn't played it in so long, but Johnny and Frank (the Drunk) wouldn't let him. Ride My Bike was PHENOMENAL. David and Johnny both broke strings (Johnny broke a string on the acoustic during Wedding Day too!) and Frank put his drum stick THROUGH the drum. He just kept jamming it into the drum like he was trying to kill it. VERY cool. Johnny ran around in the crowd at some point, but I can't remember which song - it was towards the end though.
They played for over two hours and had TWO openers. Sin-O-Matic(?) and Koester. Sin-O-Matic was very cool, they sounded like INXS without the horn section and the lead singer even looked (and sounded) like Michael Hutchence. Koester rocked too, but it didn't seem like crowd really got into them. They were a lot slower than the previous band. I, however, thought they were VERY cool.

Glad you got a set list,I'm NO good at that!!
Koester...well at first I thought this is too slow for this crowd, but(for me anyway) he took me to the edge only to grab me back with an adrenaline rush that was unreal!! I only wish that the vocals on his mic would have been crisper. I'm definitely getting his disc. Frank really WAS drunk, you could tell after the show, but it in no way interfered with his performance!! Cleveland and Cracker ROCKS!!
Off to recover now,
Veronica
