Lauren's snippet of the new song was great and it was nice of Kitty to play Princes for John. =) LP has such an amazing voice.... I loved all the songs where Kitty and Lauren were singing together. Especially Look Like Shit.... It was fun to see every in on Steve's Sweet Wheels... song. David was singing and playing despite the fact that he had no mic and his guitar wasn't amped... It was a great time and worth the fact that I had to ride home to Richmond right after the show (thanks John) and get no sleep before showing up at school to get a parking decal for my final semester.... but hey I got to eat breakfast twice! =)
Oh and as for 12/4/99 No one has mentioned this yet but I know everyone and his brother is talking about it in Richmond... We went to the Sound of Music Christmas party to hopefully see some of the above mentioned artists play. We did get there pretty early and happened to hear the rehearsal of David, Victor and Jonathan... Sad Lovers Waltz, Skinheads... It was being piped into the room we were sitting in aimlessly since no one was there yet. It sounded amazing and I couldn't wait till later in the night, but it was not to be... Fire Marshals showed up to end the show at the end of Maki's set. I suppose the party was a little too well promoted? =) Oh well... I just have to say you west coast folks are very lucky to be getting those guys to play for you out there! It should make up for the lower number of shows you've gotten... =)

After the Fletcher's show I talked to LP and she said that there is a new Lionfish cd coming out soon and it'll have 7 new songs, a live song or two, and then a Joni Mitchell cover too. I'm not sure of the release date on it though.
I also talked to Kitty, and she said she has a new song that is ready to perform, but she hasnt gotten a chance yet. There's also another one that is almost ready. I cant wait to here them.
