I think it would be safe to assume that David Lowery and I are In the same state of mind at this moment. HIGHLY PISSED It
is 12:13 on Sunday morning and Cracker ended their set at Mekka in Columbus about 1/2 hour ago. Basically at about 11:30
their stage guy came on and talked to Lowery and then Lowery came to the mike and said apparently this club has a fucking
curfew. He was obviously irate. They played an incredibly rocking version of Low and then stormed off the stage saying.
Thanks for coming out, come see us some place else where we can play a full set. After a couple minutes of very
enthusiastic crowed response they came back and played Movie Star after which they were ushered off the stage by security.
I am so fucking pissed at mekka right now. Definitely writing to the local papers tomorrow. Anyway, the boys rocked and
here's what I can remember of the set list in no order. World is Mine, Been around the world, Seven Days, Hold of Myself, I
want out of the Circus, The good life, I ride my Bike, Big Dipper, Dixie Babylon, Teen Angst, Pictures of Matchstick Men,
Eurotrash Girl, 100 FPM, Sweet Thistle Pie, Low, Movie Star, Mr. Wrong, Take me Down to the Infirmary, umm that's all I can
remember. Great show, played about 1:40. Would have been awesome if they could have just played a few more songs. Oh yeah,
the reason they had to kick cracker off was so they could start playing dance music and be the ohso trendy club they are.

I thought it was pretty funny , tho, at first, some girl trying to pass her hotel key up to David
Seven Days
World is Mine
Been around the world
I ride my Bike
Pictures of Matchstick Man
Eurotrash Girl
100 FPM
Sweet Thistle Pie
Mr. Wrong
The Good Life
Hold of Myself
I Want Out of the Circus
Take me Down to the Infirmary
Big Dipper
Dixie Babylon
Teen Angst
Low
Movie Star
umm that's all I can remember.
The rude little pukes down front who talked all the way thru Dixie Babylon didn't help either, the whole crowd seemed to be
reeling in the OSU victory over Michigan. sound was great, even sick and hallucinating Johnny still wailed. that's
entertainment

a bit of an unusual venue, a techno club that was holding a rave party
right after cracker performed. located in a group of warehouses, this
was probably the second most peculiar setting i've seen cracker play
..... first place goes to the parking lot in athens, ohio. anyways, the
columbus show opened with "the world is mine" and included
personal highlights "take me down to the infirmery," "the good life,"
"mr. wrong," "big dipper," as well as the standards "low," "get off
this,"
"what the world needs now," and the awesome closer "movie star."
unlike the chicago show at the metro, cracker seemed a victim of the
venue's curfew (pending rave party) and the show seemed to come to
an abrupt end. fantastic show regardless. other songs included "i hate
my generation," "useless stuff," "sweet thistle pie," "been around the
world," "seven days," "i want out of the circus," "100 flower power
maximum" and some others i'm forgetting at the moment.
